Angelika Rainer from the SALEWA-alpineXtrem Team has done it! The 24 year old Meran climber successfully defended her World Championship ice climbing title Busteni, Romania on Sunday. Angelika was in a class of her own for the entire competition, scoring the best times both in the qualifying round and in the semi final. Angelika then scored 13.28 points in the final, on the immensely demanding route, leaving Woon Soon Shin (South Korea) and Anna Gallyamova (Russia) way behind.
