This easy-going young Swiss woman has only just turned twenty. But already Barbara has made inroads on the rock and ice. Her natural talents helped her win the Swiss under-14 championship in autumn 2003 - one and a half years after her first contact with steep rock. This trainee insurance salesperson has been dedicating herself fully to climbing since 2005. Since then she has conquered some 7c und 7c+ routes, and then jumped clean over the 8a barrier with routes such as "La ned la gah", "Misko" and "Fusion".
