From the age of 12 onwards, this certified agricultural scientist has set off to the vertical world as often as possible. The achievements of this woman from South Tyrol speak for themselves: several titles at the Italian bouldering championships and in sports climbing, winner of the 2007 Italian Cup, two-times Italian champion in ice climbing (2007, 2008) and victory at the 2008 Ice Climbing World Cup at Saas Fee (Switzerland). In the summer of that same year she became the first woman to complete the route "Via Italia 61" (8a, Piz Ciavaces, Sella). In 2009 Angelika became world champion in ice climbing and defend the title 2011 in Busteni (Romania) successfully. Anyone who knows this ambitious, young world traveller from Meran will well believe that there is more to come.
